When the procession comes to a halt, the ceremony continues with prayers and invocations. A lama will sprinkle holy water on the crowd as a sign of good luck, to bring wealth and fertility. Everyone tries to catch a few drops, and puts them to their lips (Maidar festivities at the Erdeni Zuu monastery (16th century) at Qaraqorin, 29 July 1992).

A l'étape, la cérémonie continue par des prières et des invocations. Un lama va lancer une aspersion d'eau bénite vers la foule en signe de porte-bonheur et de voeu de richesse et fertilité. Chacun essaye de récupérer quelques unes de ces gouttes qu'ils porteront aux lèvres.
